We have a new relationship with Midwest Ministry Development Service which allows us to support clergy mental health needs with a significant amount of confidentiality. 

The Kansas-Oklahoma Conference will host an Ecclesiastical Council for Rev. Raul Bermudez, who was recommended as a candidate for Privilege of Call by the Committee on Ministry on April 12, 2023. 

Authorized clergy in Kansas are invited to attend KIFA’s 2023 annual dinner in Topeka, Kansas on June 1. 

Authorized Ministers in the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference can attend our annual clergy retreat, or boundary awareness training, or combine both offerings for an extended retreat and learning event!

What would a vibrant Annual Conference Meeting look like for you and your church community?  Our planning team has developed a creative new framework for our return to meeting in a local church. Before we move forward, we'd like to hear from our whole Conference once more about some of the topics and activities we are planning!

Part-Time: Hourly /Nonexempt position. 10 hours weekly with the possibility of more hours depending on the periodic needs of the Conference with the approval of the Conference Minister.

These next few days let us not be in a hurry to get to joyousness of Easter Sunday. Let us move slowly through the meaning and rituals of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday to experience God being with us through the dark days of Holy Week. Only then can we truly experience the joy of resurrection and new life as we run the race that has been set before us.

With all of the voices of hatred and ignorance coming from people of faith, especially Christians, we commit as pastors, church leaders, and members of Wichita United Church of Christ to the sustained work of love. We proclaim that your light and life is beloved, this day and every day.
