Clergy Mental Health Resource Available Now

We have a new relationship with Midwest Ministry Development Service which allows us to support clergy mental health needs with a significant amount of confidentiality.  To schedule a program, visit the website and contact Jean Baro, office administrator, at (708) 343-6268 or jbarommds@gmail.com

MMDS offers a variety of programs (view PDF) in virtual and in-person formats, including ways to design something unique to you.  When you confirm a plan with MMDS, our staff will be contacted with your name only, and no other details about your program.  We will confirm that you are “in good standing” in our Conference, and this way we can make sure funds are distributed among our clergy (in other words, we can’t cover more than one program per person, per year).  We will be invoiced for the first $1000 of your program, and you will be invoiced directly by MMDS for any remainder.  Again, the invoice will not include any details besides “MMDS fee.” Even if a counselor at MMDS has concerns about your fitness for ministry, they will not contact us with this information or anything like it — confidentiality applies completely here, as in any counseling relationship.

This is not the only option for clergy to seek mental health support!  But it is an option we can offer, to provide a high degree of privacy.

If you wish to use available funds (up to $1000) for another type of program or support, please reach out to Rev. Lorraine Ceniceros for a confidential conversation about your needs.
