Clergy Retreat Session III: Post-Election Wellness

Clergy Retreat: Ministry in an Election Year

Session III: Post-Election Wellness Retreat

Thursday, November 7th

Many of our clergy are deeply engaged in advocacy work for justice, and/or minister carefully to “purple” congregations at significant personal cost. After the election, no matter the outcome, we can expect some disappointments in our Red State settings.  This is a one-day event (stay the night before and/or after) to have a quiet retreat, time to connect, and time to worship together – no other agenda.

Authorized clergy in KO, and MIDs who are at the “approved for ordination pending a call” stage, are invited to register for this event.

Clergy may choose to come in on Wednesday evening for dinner and fellowship with an overnight; OR you may join in starting Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. at Osage Forest of Peace with a plan to stay over on Thursday evening instead with dinner Thursday evening included. Hotel will be in Tulsa area with Thursday's gathering at Osage Forest of Peace (141 Monastery Rd. Sand Springs, OK 74063).

The cost of the retreat is $50 and includes one night's hotel stay, day admission to Osage Forest of Peace, lunch on Thursday, and dinner on Wednesday and/or Thursday night.

Register here

The 2024 Clergy Mini-Retreats are possible due to a grant from Brown Endowment of United Church Funds.
