Introduction to the Three-Way Covenant For Retired Ministers Without Exempt Standing

Do you consider yourself retired or not active but do not hold Exempt Standing? Well, there is a Three-Way covenant for you, too! This specific covenant outlines the responsibilities between the Conference, your Local Church, and you as an Authorized Minister in the United Church of Christ, even if you are retired or inactive.  An example of this covenant can be found here.

Three- or Four-Way Covenants will become a standing requirement in the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference beginning in 2026, with various versions of the covenant existing depending on ministerial standing and ministry setting.
