End of Year Message from Rev. Lorraine Ceniceros, Conference Minister

Dear Beloved Conference and Friends,

As we say goodbye to the joyous celebrations of Christmas and stand on the threshold of a brand-new year, I am filled with gratitude for the blessings we have shared together in this community. The spirit of love, kindness, and hope that enveloped our conference this last year and in our congregations during the Christmas season continues to inspire and guide us as we approach the dawn of another year.

Christmas reminds us of the profound gift of love in the form of the birth of our brother and savior, Jesus Christ. It's a time when we come together, embracing the warmth of fellowship, and reflect on the essence of faith and goodwill. Your presence and participation in conference activities and events added immense joy and meaning to the body of Christ.

As we move forward into the New Year, let us carry the spirit of Christmas with us. Let's extend our hands in generosity, our hearts in compassion, and our thoughts in gratitude towards one another. Together, let's commit to spreading kindness, fostering unity, and being a beacon of hope in our communities.

This upcoming year holds promises, challenges, and opportunities. May we face them with unwavering faith, courage, and a collective spirit. Let's continue to support each other in our spiritual journeys and endeavors, knowing that our unity strengthens our resolve, and our faith sustains our souls.

I encourage you to take a moment in these remaining days of the year to reflect on the blessings we've received, the lessons we've learned, and the growth we've experienced. Let's enter the New Year with hearts full of gratitude and minds open to new possibilities and opportunities for service and growth.

I also want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to those who have contributed to our Friends of the Conference annual appeal. Your support plays a crucial role in helping conference leadership broaden our capacity to live into the work envisioned at the Annual Meeting. Please contact me if you have questions about how you can contribute.

Friends, as always, I ask you to keep stretching your comfort zone to share the love of Christ with others. In that stretching out toward and connecting with others, may you feel a deeper connection to the Holy.

May the peace and love that filled our hearts during Christmas continue to dwell among us throughout the coming year. I pray that the New Year brings abundant blessings, prosperity, and spiritual growth for you and your loved ones.

Your partner on this journey of faith,
Lorraine
