Associate Conference Minister Sought

God is still moving in the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference, and so with profuse love, a healthy dose of laughter, and exhilarating joy, we are asking if God may be calling you to serve in this new role.

We are seeking a UCC-ordained minister with a pastoral heart to serve as part-time Designated Term Associate Conference Minister. This position will assist the Conference Minister in providing support and resource responsibilities for 53 congregations and offer relational and ecclesiastical care to the authorized ministers and congregations in the region.

Aside from “official” duties, our candidate might be asked to provide book recommendations, a favorite cocktail recipe, or to be a supportive voice in the crowd. Whatever it is, it will be meaningful as part of the K-O Conference Staff!

The ACM will also resource and support the two divisions (Authorization and Discernment) of the Committee on Ministry. We are anticipating this designated term position to last 18 months from date of hire, whereupon the position will be assessed for possible continuation or adjustment.

The position requires the candidate to agree not to serve a local UCC congregation during the term period. Please provide an updated ministerial profile to Rev. Lorraine Ceniceros, K-O Conference Minister at lceniceros@kocucc.org by September 30, 2022.

A valid background check will be required.
