KANSAS-OKLAHOMA CONFERENCE UCC
Monday, October 5 – Sunday, October 11
It seems like COVID-19 has stolen so much from our lives. In the extreme, the Coronavirus has taken lives, livelihoods, and left millions of survivors with a lifetime of health problems. To a lesser degree, although many of us have avoided the virus and managed to keep our jobs, we’re also feeling a sense of loss – missing family and friends, confined to working virtually, and for some families, struggling to help children navigate school, either online through distance learning, or facing the risk of in-person classrooms.
On the bright side – yes, there is a bright side. With so many events shifting to a virtual format, they become accessible to a much wider audience. The Kansas-Oklahoma Conference UCC Annual Meeting is a good example. Traditionally, in recent years these two-day meetings have taken place in Wichita or Tulsa with lay delegates and clergy members gathering in person, and visitors welcome, but obligated to pay the registration fee.
This year, with a virtual format, the Annual Meeting is open to visitors – for FREE! In addition, Annual Meeting events have been expanded to be more convenient for widespread participation.
Here are some of the highlights of the events you can access:
Morning Prayers: Monday – Friday, 7:30-7:50 am . . . start your day with your K-O UCC family. Click this link for Morning Prayer leaders
